RGS Development operates 2 facilities for its rapid casting production process. The RGS production facility is an industrialized and fully automated facility, capable of continuous 24/7 operation. The installation is maintained and operated by a dedicated team of experienced specialists. It has the following characteristics:

• Output: 156x156 mm² wafers (tiles with exact control of the material composition)
• Currently running at batches of several kg’s, continuous 24/7 operation prepared
• Operates at very high level of process control and semi clean room conditions
• Sufficient capacity for initial production volumes

The test facility runs the same RGS rapid solidification process as the production facility, but at a smaller scale. It’s extremely suitable for quick (low cos) testing new material compositions or process optimization. The test facility has the following characteristics:

• Output: 100x130 mm² wafers (tiles with exact control of the material composition)
• Maximum 10 wafers/batch
• Flexible operation and fast turnaround times
